Dr. Eken’s will discuss how obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a highly debilitating illness that impacts people in multiple environments, including the workplace. Fortunately, effective pharmacological and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) based treatments exist that help. She will explain the relationship between obsessions and compulsions and how Exposure Response Prevention treatment disrupts the cycle , discuss OCD symptoms that impact suffers in the work place, and review medications that are used in the treatment of OCD.
