If you've ever said yes to something while thinking "I'm going to regret this," this conversation is for you. Many people struggle to set boundaries without guilt, worry about how others will react, or feel stuck between saying yes and feeling resentful. When used well, boundaries can create space to stay connected and comfortable, even in demanding situations.
In this engaging webinar, executive coach and workplace conflict facilitator Rachel Lucas shares a practical, human-centered approach that expands what boundaries look like in real life. Using relatable stories, humor, and insights from the Energy Leadership framework, participants learn how stress shapes their reactions, how to communicate boundaries in ways others can hear, and how to protect their energy without losing connection.
Participants leave with practical tools they can use immediately to reduce stress, respond to pushback with more ease, and expand their options for setting and holding boundaries with confidence.
Learning Objectives:
1. Differentiate among the four positions on the boundary spectrum - fuzzy, flexible, firm, and enforced - and recognize the different types of boundaries (physical, digital, time, emotional, energetic) showing up in their own work and personal life.
2. Identify how stress and the seven energy levels shape boundary decisions, and recognize the relationship between lower levels ( 1-2) of energy and boundary struggles
3. Apply The Ladder framework to shift from a reactive perspective to one that surfaces more options and choices when navigating a real boundary challenge.
